AHVNA Members who are Early Childhood Educators, working with children ages 0-6 and 6-12, in licensed child care centres, out-of-school care programs, and dayhomes.

Membership of an licensed child care agency or organization enables all Early Childhood Educators within that organization to register for workshops free of charge.
Funding is available to through the Alberta Government and AHVNA. AHVNA will directly compensate Early Childhood Educators who complete Mental Health professional development offered through AHVNA. This funding is over and above the existing 45 hours of Release Time Funding approved by the Ministry of Children and Family Services.
Funding will be mailed directly to Early Childhood Educators who register for training. Registration requires approval from the Educator’s supervisor. In order to register, centres must be a member of AHVNA; one membership of $100 allows for any Early Childhood Educator within that agency to register for training through these grants.
The Alberta Home Visitation Network Association is a provincial non-profit society that promotes quality home visitation programs. Recently, AHVNA has been tasked with providing Mental Health Professional Development Training to Early Childhood Educators working in licensed child care centres, out-of-school care programs, and dayhomes across Alberta, in partnership with the Alberta Government.
